In 2003, I hosted a Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory ETPub server named Madchook. I still consider it one of the finest multiplayer strategy experiences out there. I favor the ETPub mod for its excellent administrative tools and customization options. Unfortunately, ETPub is still not compatible with the Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory Legacy edition. Nonetheless, the memories of the Madchook Clan remain vivid, and the idea of reviving it is still appealing.

Join the Madchook Clan, a gaming community active since 2005/6, with over thirty members at its peak and growing at the time. Beyond gaming, members can explore programming skills if interested, combining fun with valuable learning opportunities! When 15 to 20 players are in a game, it creates some of the most intense and unforgettable gameplay experiences. Whether you’re a casual player, love competitive gaming, or have an interest in programming, the Madchook Clan has something for you.

The Game
Enemy Territory (ET) is my favorite online game. It has large maps, an XP system, new sounds, and minor updates to graphics and classes. This is back in 2005.
What makes ET stand out is its gameplay. It’s not realistic, but not as fast as Quake—just right. The action is fast but isn’t just run-and-gun.
Each map has objectives (like in Unreal Tournament) that must be completed, often requiring several steps. The class system plays a big role, with five different classes like Engineers for objectives and Medics for support. The XP system adds depth by offering bonuses as you progress.
